A villa with a private sandy beach on the estate: what exactly does that mean?

Honesty first: what it is not

Villa Palmview does not sit on the coastline. The sea is about 750 metres away and Jávea's Arenal beach is within walking distance; the view is of the Montgó mountain, not of the sea. If you want a house with the waves below the terrace, you are looking for something else — we would rather say so upfront than have you discover it on arrival.

What it is: a real sandy beach, right on the estate

On the villa's grounds a genuine sandy beach has been laid out: fine sand to play in, lie on and build with, a few steps from the saltwater pool and the wings. As far as we know it is unique on the Costa Blanca — which is why it has become the signature of Villa Palmview.

Why it works so well for groups

Children, without the sea stress. Toddlers and small children want one thing only: sand. On the estate they play safely within sight of the adults at the pool — no surf, no jellyfish, no lost flip-flops.

No hauling. Take 28 people to the beach and you are moving a small house-load of parasols, cool boxes and buckets. Here you walk from breakfast to the sand in your swimsuit.

The afternoon formula. In practice a rhythm forms by itself: mornings at the real beach or on an outing, afternoons back at the estate — the pool for some, the little beach for others, shade and a book for the rest. Everyone at their own pace, nobody has to follow the group.

And what about the real beach?

That is well within reach: the Arenal with its wide strip of sand and its terraces is walkable, and Jávea's famous coves — Granadella first among them — are a quarter of an hour's drive away. The private sandy beach does not replace the sea; it means you do not have to go there every day.
