The Costa Blanca has more courses than any group can play in a week. From Jávea, five sit within forty minutes of our gate: two friendly nine-hole clubs for the easy days, a 27-hole Olazábal flagship, Seve Ballesteros' seaside test at Oliva Nova and the oldest course on the coast at Altea. A week, planned
Tee times in the morning, the pool and the beach in the afternoon, dinner at home. Day one: arrive and nine easy holes at Jávea. Day two: La Sella, the Llebeig and Gregal loops. Day three: no tee time — the private sand, the Arenal for lunch, the Montgó for the restless. Day four: Oliva Nova. Day five: La Sella again, the high Mestral loop with sea views. Day six: Ifach with the guest discount, then lunch on the Moraira seafront. Day seven: Altea and its terrace. Swap freely; all five courses are open year-round.
Tee times, green fees and clubs
- Send us your preferred days, number of players and handicaps and we arrange the tee times with the clubs. Green fees are paid directly to each club; we send the current fees with the request.
- La Sella asks for a handicap certificate (maximum 35); the nine-hole clubs are used to holiday golfers. Book a few days ahead in spring and autumn.
- All five courses rent buggies and trolleys and most have hire sets — nobody has to fly with clubs. If you bring your own, there is storage out of sight at the villa for every set.
- Dress code is the usual Spanish standard: collared shirt, tailored shorts or trousers, soft spikes.
The base, and what it costs per golfer
Up to 28 guests in eleven en-suite bedrooms across three private wings: early tee-timers get ready without waking anyone. Storage for every set of clubs, four cars inside the gate, a heatable saltwater pool for tired legs in the cooler months and an outdoor kitchen with one long table for the nineteenth hole. Our lowest winter from-price for the main villa with 18 golfers works out at about € 58 per golfer per night; only the green fees are extra. When to come
October to May is prime golf weather: mild, dry and 15–22 °C. Summer means early tee times and afternoons in the pool. The month-by-month figures are in Jávea's weather by month, and the winter promotions give a fixed monthly price for January and February.
Non-golfers are fine here: the private sand, the pool, petanque, the Montgó trails and Jávea's old town five minutes away. Everyone meets again at the long table.
